So after upgrading your solaris box from 2.5 to 2.6 it becomes solaris 6 then seven or 2.7 then 8 or 2.8 etc, next you install java, version 1.1. Simple, then you upgrade to version 2, that’s 1.2 on the download site. Now you can upgrade to version 5 of java by simply downloading version 1.5 from the website!!!
