I have been playing with blender a 3d drawing package and I have to say it is very impressive. There is quite a steep learning curve as the interface is pretty different to what you are used to. But there are some excelent blender video tutorials to get you on your way. Next stop is to do a mock up of the new room layout at home but I think that will take some time!
