More reading than writing.

It has been said that you should try to read something and write something every day. Well I have been doing pretty well at the reading but the writing bit is going a little slower!

I have nearly finished reading the Internet it’s a big task but I thought I would give it a go. There is just so much out there and for somebody with an attention span of a goldfish, like myself, it’s fantastic. I do want to point out a couple of things that are really taking up my time at the moment. First is Wikipedia you can find any fact that you like there, Yesterday I overheard somebody asking about how many ounces there are in a pound. A short while later and I was learning all about the weight of Gold and the Troy pound.

The other one I wanted to mention was Joel on Software he writes about programming and business so it’s a bit techy but you should not hold that against him. What he does write though makes a lot of sense and is really readable. Go and have a look round. I find myself reading one artical then skipping back to read another that he links to, then before long I have two or three tabs open waiting to be read!

Writing on the other hand has not been going so well as you can see. I just have not felt inspired recently but with the move to the new server I am going to make a bit of an effort and get some thoughts down on e-paper. You will have to make do with some photos for now.
