While I like the idea of posterous I do wonder about the longevity of some of these services.

I have setup a Posterous account because it sounds so simple. Just
email from anywhere have have it turn up as a blog post, attach a photo
or video and have that attached to.
My only worry is what happens when they get sold to the highest bidder or run out of capital as many of these startups do and take the content down.
All your post and photos end up as dead links.
As more of these services pop up and disappear will the internet be
littered with more and more dead links?
