So a Lisa
Williamshasdecided to use the Dewey Decimal system to
categorise their weblog. How long before Kaff goes one better with
colon
classification?
This may be a bit excessive me think’s. I also firmly believe
in the power of the computer, why should I spend hours learning a
whole classification scheme when I can search my whole site in a
second using google and the site: keyword! Perhaps what is needed
is a categoriser for websites. It would parse a website and by
understanding what is written it would put it in a category. But
then you would end up with huge categories that you would need to
search through using a search engine so why not search through the
lot? Having said all that I do put categories on my weblog so why
not use a standard way of organising them.
