Can I sit in a booth please?
Just a little observation about the Starbucks at Manchester Station. The seating is arranged in two lines of tables running down the long side of the café and because of this most people tend to grab a table by the wall when they can. I think this is the same mentality that makes us like the booth arrangements in restaurants. The idea that this, somehow, is more private and that you can hide up against the wall. Perhaps it's an instinct; knowing that a woolly mammoth is not going to jump out from the wall; it's a slightly safer place to be.
